What I collect, and what I do with it.
Nyxaya Studios is a one-person communications studio. This site collects as little as possible: essentially, what you send me and nothing else unless you say yes to it.

Who is responsible
Nyxaya Studios, registered in the Netherlands (KVK 42124161, VAT ID NL005512404B57), is the data controller for this website. For anything privacy related, write to hello@nyxayastudios.com.
The data this site collects
Contact form details
- What
- Name, email address, subject, selected service, and your message
- Why
- To read and reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of our conversation
- How long
- 24 months after our last contact, then deleted
- Legal basis
- Your consent when you submit the form, and legitimate interest in responding to enquiries
Anti-spam signals
- What
- A one-way hashed version of your IP address, the time you took to fill the form, and a Cloudflare Turnstile verification token
- Why
- To block automated spam and abusive submissions, and to rate-limit repeated sending
- How long
- Stored alongside the submission and removed with it
- Legal basis
- Legitimate interest in keeping the site secure
Email correspondence
- What
- Anything you choose to write to hello@nyxayastudios.com or send via LinkedIn
- Why
- To hold a conversation with you about working together
- How long
- For as long as the working relationship or enquiry is active, then archived or deleted
- Legal basis
- Legitimate interest and, where applicable, steps taken before a contract
Cookie preference
- What
- Your consent choice, stored locally in your browser
- Why
- So the site remembers whether you allowed non-essential cookies

- Until you clear it or change your choice

Analytics (only if you opt in)

Cookies and tracking
No tracking or analytics scripts load until you actively accept them. Essential storage is limited to your cookie choice and the spam-protection check that runs on the contact form. You can review or change your decision at any time.
Who else sees your data
I do not sell or trade personal data. A small number of service providers process data on my behalf so the site can function: the hosting and database provider that stores contact form submissions, Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection, and my email provider for correspondence. If you choose to accept analytics, the analytics provider processes the usage data described above.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal data held about you
- Have inaccurate details corrected
- Ask for your data to be deleted
- Object to or restrict how your data is used
- Withdraw consent at any time, including for analytics cookies
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)
